Meet Dr. Chad Lambourne

Healthy Smiles and Healthy Lives

Orthodontics is a phenomenal profession that allows me to promote good health in so many ways. Beyond the functional and aesthetic benefits of properly aligned teeth, orthodontic treatment changes how people feel about themselves. Studies have shown that a person’s smile is the #1 item related to their self-esteem and self-confidence. Wall Street has even recently ranked a person’s smile as the most important initial impression in a job applicant!

I love being involved in a process that can be truly life changing. The investment that people make in themselves, for a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles, cannot be equaled. The most exciting part of my work is watching the excitement in patients as they see their smile transform and the growth of self-confidence they exhibit.

One of the best things about orthodontics is the connections that happen with my patients. Because treatment takes place over many months, I’m able to get to know patients well and we become friends. I look forward to their visits as a time to see how their smile is progressing and to learn what’s been happening in their life, too!

Education, Continuing Education, and Professional Affiliations

I’m committed to staying current with the latest orthodontic research and techniques. This allows me to offer the best care to my patients while protecting them from the latest fad or unproven marketing or trends. Evidenced-based orthodontics is the safest and proven way to treat with consistent, excellent results.

Each year I complete many hours of continuing education in topics that include Invisalign®, digital orthodontics and treatment planning, 3D imaging, TMJ-TMD and sleep apnea, and surgical procedures. I also serve on the clinical advisory panel for Opal Orthodontics and Ultradent Products, Inc. This allows me to test and research the latest products and provide feedback.

I am an active member of many professional associations, which allows me to learn from leaders in the field. Among these organizations are the:

Personal Life

Originally from Salt Lake City, I moved to Billings in the spring of 2009 after practicing orthodontics in Boise for four years. My wife Jennifer and I are enjoying raising our children, son Josh and daughter Avery, in this beautiful area. If I’m not working, you can often find me on the golf course or at the gym.

I also spend a lot of time coaching and cheering on my children (and often my patients) in their many sporting endeavors. My favorite times are spent hanging out with my wife and children, and enjoying our time together as a family.
